Age Guidelines
CT RiverHawks Age Classifications 2026 / 2027 Season
USA Hockey has announced that youth ice hockey age classifications must be aligned with the calendar year for registration purposes. This classifications matrix will be used as the CT RiverHawks Playing Level Guidelines for the 2026 / 2027 season.
Mite (birth year): 2021 - 2018
Squirt (birth year): 2016 - 2017
PeeWee (birth year): 2014 - 2015
Bantam (birth year): 2012 - 2013
Midget (birth year): 2008 - 2011
